Asika Consulting assisted Stats SA to conduct Census 2022 by updating Geo-frame in all settlements in six provinces. The project created a GIS database that indicated the location and types of dwelling units, as well as their addresses and gatekeeper information such as property caretakers, tenants/primary residents, homeowners associations, or security/guardhouse contacts.

The dwelling units were initially identified in a GIS environment and then verified by a field survey. The Geo-frame assisted Stats SA in identifying location of dwelling units/ households, creating work packages for survey enumerators and identifying routes to dwelling units.
